What you can publish

Every format below is published through the network's official API, straight from Plumox.

  • Text

Up to 3,000 characters to tell a story, share a lesson or announce news.

  • Photos

1 to 20 images in the same post, for behind the scenes, events and results.

  • Video

One video per post: demos, testimonials and talk highlights.

  • Document carousel

A PDF or slide deck your audience flips through page by page.

Step by step

  1. Create your account and connect LinkedIn

Sign up for Plumox and connect your profile through LinkedIn's official login. You authorize publishing without sharing your password.

  2. Open the editor

Go to LinkedIn > Posts to publish now, or Scheduling > Posts to pick a day and time.

  3. Write the text

Only the first lines show before "see more": open with the main idea or a question. Close with up to 3 hashtags about your topic.

  4. Add media or a link

Attach photos, a video or a document from your computer. With no media, the first link in the text becomes a preview with title and image.

  5. Choose who can see it

Anyone, connections only, or LinkedIn members.

  6. Publish or schedule

Publish right away or schedule it. The post goes out at the set time, even with your computer off.

Why post with Plumox

  • Official integration

Publishing through the LinkedIn API, with no browser extension and no shared password.

  • Content calendar

Write the week's posts in one sitting and spread them across business days — on LinkedIn, consistency beats volume.

  • Same content, multiple networks

Schedule the same idea on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X, with the text adapted for each network.

  • AI-written copy

AI writes the LinkedIn version of the post: more context, fewer emojis, a call to start a conversation.

  • Document carousels

Turn a PDF or a slide deck into a carousel, one of the most engaging formats on LinkedIn.

  • Automatic link preview

Paste the link in the text and Plumox builds the card with title and image read from the page itself.

Best practices to reach more people

  • The first two lines decide the "see more" click: lead with a result, a number or a question.
  • Post 2 to 4 times a week on business days, early in the morning or at the end of the workday.
  • Real stories with a lesson (a mistake, a case, a behind-the-scenes moment) beat product announcements.
  • Use short paragraphs with space between them: mobile readers will thank you.
  • Reply to comments in the first hour: conversation expands the post's reach.
  • Document carousels work well for lists, guides and step-by-steps: one idea per page.
